Email from Mexican Attorney says Husband, Oldest Son and Youngest Son can pick up their FM3s next Friday morning!
Looks promising but will believe all in order when really happens!

We MOVED to the Pacific Coast of Mexico for 1 year with young children from July 2008 to July 2009. We went back for 5 weeks in Summer 2010. This Blog will document this adventure ...

You are right AM. I would say that there is a 50-50 chance but if it doesn't happen it will happen soon. In the end everything will be fine and that's all that counts :)
Bob's comment reminds me of the refrain in Shakespeare in Love whenever a new tragedy would strike.
"The natural condition is one of insurmountable obstacles on the road to imminent disaster. Strangely enough, it all works out in the end."
"How?"
"It's a mystery."
It may be a Stoppard line, but it truly is Mexico.
We were planning to start our FM3 in early December, had everything in order, bank statements, copies of every passport page, letter from apartment owner confirming we were here, telephone bill, birth cert of our son....ah but the birth certficate had to have an apostil (sp?), certifying it as a certified legal document. So, off the birth certificate went to US, via a friend, now is at the Colorado Sect of State getting a stamp and then fedex back to us in Mexico. Hoping to start the process in January!
When did you originally apply. We are waiting on mine to be processed. We don't have a lawyer so we have to make the 2 hour drive just to check and see if its ready. We are thinking we will try again at the end of Jan. Im curious to how long yours took so I know if we should wait a little longer.
We turned in paper work on Dec 1st I think. Good Luck!
Oh well that's not as long as I thought. Thanks.
