I will remember I watched President Obama take office while sitting at my Mexico dining table. Thank goodness the broadcast is in English so I can understand every word.
I love being an American today. I love watching the gracious transition of power.
Regardless of my specific views, I am thankful to former President Bush for putting forth the effort and sacrifice to lead our country.
I wish Presibent Obama and his advisors much strength to address the nation's challenges.

What a gracious note. Unfortunately, I missed the cremony due to work requirements. But I have managed to miss most inaugurations.
S - I have had my 2 work computers in front of me the entire time so I am a bit scattered today but wanted to try to see most of the coverage. It has been good. Wish Oldest Son was at home to see it with me.
I'm home alone with the baby who doesn't seem nearly as excited as I am. I long for adult companionship today more than most.
FD - I hear ya. Husband and I watched part together. We were both choked up.
Nice comment, I wish everyone else was as respectful to BOTH presidents. Neither is perfect, but both did and will do what they feel is best for the country.
As the mother of a 5 year old I'm too choked up to comment. I'm amazed everyday by they way he views the world, so pure, so simple, so innocent.
