Wow that's breath taking and you are so lucky to live abroad for a year. I'd like to try it but I want to be able to come back if I don't like it.
My husband and I have a house near Leon in Guanajuato, Mexico. It's just about finished and the only things that we need to finish is the flooring in the bedrooms, kitchen cabinets, and appliances.
We purchased a new bedroom suite, but lack the rest of the furniture. Recently I've been talking with hubby about adding a rooftop getaway with railings, etc.
Maybe one day we will enjoy it :)
